Life Update

It has been soooooo long since I last posted anything on here but I think I am ready to get back into it.

So many things have occurred in my life in the past few months that I feel are leading to a new chapter of it. A chapter including new relationships, new responsibilities, new creations, and new lessons. I just got back to Asheville a couple of days ago from being gone for a little over a month and a half. It was a long and very full time gone...

My journey took me all up the east coast visiting friends in Baltimore and New York and ending the northern expedition in Maine, where I stayed for an entire month. I was there for the Beehive Collective's work party, which consisted of so many new experiences, amazing introductions to people and ideas, delicious blueberries, and beautiful scenes that it would be hard for me to even begin describing it all. But I think that it was exactly what I needed in this time in my life, which is an exciting realization to now have.

I think I'll keep it short for now but I would also like to share this project that Jonathan Harris recently finished and I personally can really relate to. It's pretty beautiful.

Farewell for now

India: Restricted Internet Speech

This is a frightening thing that could lead to blind nationalism of a whole new sort. People must be able to openly criticize and discuss issues without being regulated and watched.

Even worse, Sunil Abraham, the executive director for the Center for Internet and Society, states that; “whenever there are limits of freedom of expression, in order for those limits to be considered constitutionally valid, those limits have to be clear and not be very vague. Many of these rules that seek to place limits are very, very vague.”

RISE at Warren Wilson

My wonderful beautiful friend, Evan works at her school in a program called RISE. They work on issues such as sexual violence and dating violence, progressing through activism, dialogue, and education to a safer, consensual community. She recently posted some free zines and publications that they have created to spread the word and help people know how to help others. So view them online or print them out and spread them around!
